Is there a game available when buying this book? an Amiga game in a proper box etc...

I am a prolific user of Amibay and English Amiga Board.

Nope, however!

The Amiga Kickstarter I believe for a certain pledging has a brand new release of Putty Squad boxed for Amiga. Not sure if they are still available :D

Wizzball?

Kickstart?

Far right, second from top. Is that the leg or Manic Miner or Spy vs Spy?

Ahh Putty Squad! That is the one. A game long thought lost which came back from the ashes. Rebuilt two A1200's for games like these :)

I'm finding the thread about the Amiga compendium, the C64 compendium and the Internet memories thread a little sad. It's made me realise just how much time has passed and how much I loved my early years of computing. It's somehow less exciting now that we take everything for granted.

Ain't that the sad truth :(

Seriously, you miss the 30 odd minutes of load time for a game from a tape deck? as I sure as heck don't......heheh

I used to love the games though, Dizzy, Airborne ranger being my favorites...

Loved every minute of the wait. Hell, the anticipation hoping that it would load successfully was half the fun!!:p

This is just another way of driving traffic to your site...
