2nd episode showed slightly better hope, yeah while a bit of a spoiler britta stealing that kids racing bike was hilarious for the cute yet silly acting especially since she was smiling as she drove off.

I'm genuinely just so pleased to have more episodes even if they are not as good as the first few seasons.

I miss the 'original' study group, Pearce, Troy and Shirley were fantastic however the entire comedic timing and dynamic of the group has changed. I really do hope they manage to some how bring Troy and Shirley back.

Dean is brilliant as per, that second episode 'JESUS WEPT' :D.

Also watched the first two episodes, I enjoyed it and it's certainly better than the season without Harmon, but something is slightly 'off' about it. The writing is there, the jokes and humour are there, but it doesn't 'feel' quite right as if the pacing or comedic timing has suffered a bit. It feels like the first season of a show where things are still a bit awkward and being figured out.

I only just started watching this a couple of weeks ago. It took a while to get into certainly but slowly starting to love it. Every character is unique but I think Abed is the most interesting one, you can never tell what he is going to do or say next.

p.s. I can't decide who is hotter, Britta or Annie...:D

Perhaps Annie...just

Second episode was a lot better. Oh and Annie is hotter by a mile.

I hope they let Alison Brie do some rapping this season :D

3rd episode was good, I thought the texting scene bookends of the episode were great, the first scene being very funny. The Dean is a retard :D

Getting there... 3rd was ok liked the 2nd one better

Its still a nice little show to watch in the background tv viewing wise.

It's turned into a sketch show, though it has been for quite some time.

I think people forget that Chang was an actual person, semi normal and when he did outrageous things they stood out because he could be somewhat normal, now he barely speaks, he says nothing that isn't insane, he doesn't appear to function as a human and he's not really funny. It's the same thing too many sitcoms go through. Start off as well rounded characters, each with their own quirks, after some time the writers make them just the quirks and nothing else at which point the funny one liners become boring every liners.

Same goes for the situation they are in, they were in a fairly normal college in which some funny stuff happened, now they aren't in a college any more, it's a fun house where nothing makes sense and the stories aren't interesting.

For instance the Britta crapping herself was actually very well done, but much like an SNL skit it went on and on and on and stopped being funny. The listening to music and being weird wasn't funny, it was just being weird for the sake of being weird. The constant emergency situations in every episode is covering for the lack of funny. "normal" story lines with brilliant and funny writing was fantastic to watch in early series, particularly the first, now it's stupid story lines with cheap/easy jokes.

It also makes the truly stand out strange episodes not stand out and brilliant any more. The paintball war was brilliant, the second one wasn't as original but has a twist and made it interesting, since then the big random wars aren't special or original and not anywhere near as funny either. The multiple timelines episode was epic, but the future evil time line stuff was a joke. The multiple time lines thing was a guy imagining what might happen if the dice fell differently, the evil time line characters actually happening in a real episode(more than once) is them taking the show out of the real world entirely and it feels like it never went back. Been worse every year since the start but 1 was epic, 2 was slightly less than epic, the drop off each season since then has been painful to see.

I'm watching season 2 on Netflix at the moment. I'd watched the first 3 seasons before, but not for a while. It is absolutely brilliant. It's a shame that it sounds like it falls off a cliff after season 3, but very few series manage to be great forever.

Slight improvement is feeling bit more classic community I guess.

But at same time its a show I wouldn't miss if I forgot to watch it.....

I'm quite enjoying this season, the episode before last (where they made the movie) was a bit dumb but this past week's one was great. The final scene with the dad and the giant watch was surprisingly dark though!

I've seen two episodes of this season and I don't miss it at all.
I'll eventually catch up with it, but it's not urgent for me

Is it better than season 4 and 5?
