Hello I would be grateful for any help. I have GSkill Trident 3733mhz 64GB kit with CL17-19-19-39
I am on a X570 AMD motherboard
I have tried tightening the timings but every time I come out of bios into windows my timings are never set to what I have changed in the bios to say 16-18-18-36.
I don’t know what Gigabyte have doe to the bios but the Ram timings settings screen seem to be over complicated compared to other manufacturers bios settings screen, nothing is straight forward as some of the settings are not plainly obvious first time with an gigabyte amd motherboard always has Asus. I have set the F-Clock to 1800MHZ I can set the XMP profile 1 but I have disabled the XMP profile and wish to do it manually can anyone advise as I can’t not see the TCL setting anywhere on the Bios version F31o. I can find the TRCD, TRP, and the TRAS.
Also, where can I find the setting to apply the ram settings to all modules and do I go into the overclock settings in bios or the standard ram settings in bios or do I have to configure both.
No matter what I do my ram settings that I apply never seem to stick and always revert to something else.
Any help would be appreciated. I have overclocked on Asus motherboards no problems but this Gigabyte is giving me a head scratching session so now I have it on XMP Profile 1 with clock fabric set to 1800 MHZ ram is running at 3600MHZ in windows that’s the only thing I can do at the moment and it works but I wish to set the ram frequency manually.
Anyone offer any help.
