Hello everyone, I finally registered here after a long time of lurking. However I was noted by a friend who reads this forum more often than me of this thread. I really liked the idea of this competition and decided I wanted to enter so hereby my first post and my design:

I decided against writing down specifications and just attach a small description of each case with it instead. For my design I decided to go with a frozen kind of look involving lots of ice. Also I thought it was a nice to display all four colours in a neat row.

Personally I'm quite satisfied with the result, but feedback is always appreciated. I'm not too sure about the text so I'd like to see if people find it readable or not.

I think I may play a bit and see how it looks in a browser on custom background, I'll let you guys see it if I think it looks any good.

That's it for my first post I hope you guys like it.

I thought i had a vector on my HDD from the wallpaper competition guess not, closest i have is this, should be big enough for what you need it for.

After reviewing the text I noticed that it does indeed sell little. So I updated it to show the key points of each case and did a little tinkering with some blending which I thought could do better.

The text I think may be a little bit compacted but I want to ensure that it still fits within a browser So I decided against making it longer. As well as keeping the text to a readable size.

Btw, I did notice immediately ByMRK1 that you used the core four colours that the cases are available in to texture the background, nice touch. But did you know that you have a few of areas in the background (around the top 2 cases) where the texture isn't uniform and suddenly cuts to lighter/darker shades. Please don't think I'm knocking it as I only want to help, here's those areas if you think they need correcting... 3MB PNG image for ByMRK1

Wow, thanks for showing me where the error was! :)
Thanks mate :DD
