You know... OcUK coud probably make a neat sideline in selling babies rattles to forum members, given their proclivity for throwing theirs out of the pram at the slightest hint of a warning.
Nah, someone would probably post a link to somewhere cheaper :p

Whilst I'm posting can I check that mentioning ebay is ok as long as it's not 'buy this computer part from ebay'

Everyone complaining really need to start reading the T&Cs they agree to before joining a forum, lol

Within reason yes.

You can link to anything that OcUK does not sell, but the auction also has to be legal.

If a company primarily sells hardware, or sells a lot of it in comparrisson to its other product ranges then you can not link to them at all.

If a company sold 1million games, but had a mid range graphics card for sale they would not be a competitor, but you can not link to the graphics card or mention you can get it from that company.

Easiest way to keep to the rules is if OcUK sells it, the product does not exist anywhere else. That has placed me well within the rules for years.

I am closing this now, enough people have read it and hopefully it will have sunk in that breaking the rules is not on.

It has had a positive effect straight away so it was worth posting.

Going to bump this now and also copy it to Console Gaming just as a reminder of the rules when it comes to competitors, especially in relation to companies that though not primarily PC hardware sellers (games sites) that have a significant number of products on their site that OcUK also sell.
