completing a game!

I hate completing games and really enjoy games that offer more when you have completed them. I recently completed GTA and i still go back to it because its not really a game you can complete as you can still have fun when its over.

Im also really bad when i do complete games, few days ago i completed Castlavania Dawn of Sorrow on my ds and i have had that since 2005. I like to get as much out of a game as i can.
 
I used to really struggle to complete games when I was younger-if I found something hard I would give up. I still havent completed Zelda OOT which is a major blemish on my gaming record!

I've got a lot better recently though. As long as a game has a good storyline it will hold me and I will finish it. I've found that I play games much more for the story than anything though.

Dreamfall
Fahrenheit
Portal
Okami
All the Total War games (as far as you can complete them).

I've got the Witcher and STALKER waiting for completion. Only finished Bioshock last night so will probably try to plough on through STALKER soonish. It scares me though :(

Having said that, I dont play loads of "completable" games. A lot of the games I play are things like Pro Evo, FM2008, Smash Bros or Civ which you cant really complete.
 
The Only game I havent really completed in recent months is the Witcher, mainly due to a hard disk death about 40 hours into it
 
I noticed recently that there are many games I have never completed, the games I recently completed tho are:

C&C 3 all 3 campaigns
Mass effect
Shivering isles
Ratchet and clank ToD
COD 4

I rarely complete a game. I've completed Half Life, Half Life 2, Call of Duty 4, Portal and not much else... I've played loads and LOADS of games, but I really rarely finish them. That's one of the things I loved about Call of Duty 4 was that it was awesome, but short so I could complete it. :p A game has to be REALLY good for me to put the effort in to complete it, and the games mentioned above fit the bill.
 
Winter is the time to complete games, and when your Ill, that is when i complete most of my games

But i need to complete more :(

I am trying to complete Hitman 1 atm i got it yesterday for 99p

If the game is good i will stick to it to the end :)

esspacily if i completed the first few games :P
 
My completion rate seems to differ between genre's.
RPGs rate highest:
Fallout I and II, Mass effect, Kotor I and II, Jade empire spring to mind.
RTS seem next, complete just so i can "learn" how to play really, then get trashed online :p

Turn Based strategy:
Well, these stay on my hd a looong time. but eventually do get completed. I'm still playing UFO:extraterrestrials, UFO: Afterlight
First person shooters: get bored, exceptions: Halo and Deus Ex. Half life 1 I got to the alien bit and didn't finish.
