Compressed C: drive...uncompressing?

If the files are there on the drive I would back them up in their current state before buggering about with them.

Her brother-in-law happened to call up and had a bit of information on this. Gave her a run code and all seems to working okay. They've cleared up some stuff and run some installation files...it's just excel which is playing up but she's re-installing that next week
