Computer Chair

Looks nice, im after one too but on a much tighter budget.

If anyone can spec me one for say 50 quid?

Any ill be good as the sides and back have fell off mine, not bad for a cheap argos thing that is 10+ years old.

I'd love a Herman Miller Aeron. Had one at one of the jobs I worked at in the summer.
Can't really afford one as much as I'd love one though.

Been eyeing up this one though. Anyone got one?

Mate I wouldn't buy that chair or indeed any other chair from Argos. I had a £70 chair from Argos and it started falling to bits after a couple of weeks. The leather was rock hard, the foam for the seat and arms perished so the seat was like sitting on hard plastic. The gas strut would slowly compress every time i shifted my weight about (I'm only 12 1/2 stone), so id have to keep adjusting it. The arms were made of fake leather and started crumbling away to reveal the material underneath. Then to top it off i leaned on the arm and it snapped off completely .

i managed to do that too so another vote for no to argos, was very shocked when it just went SNAP and i fell on the floor. shame as although it was a cheapo one it was in some ways better then my current in that the old one went much higher and lower which meant i could pull the keyboard tray out of my desk fully uinlike now it just comes a little bit and hits my legs, and also would lean so easily i would swing away all day forward and backward, the current cost me £150 compared to the £30 old one

Some decent chairs in here. looking for a new one myself. the one im using at home at the moment has an ass groove.. no good for long sits

I bought a new chair last week, very comfy with a nice high back for watching vids. :)

Not identical to the above, but very similar. Was £100 reduced from £130, yet I've just found it for £90 on their site. doh!

I can't link to it as they are a competitor... but they've been linked to a couple of times in this thread if you want a look. ;)

I have this one, and it is pure heaven. Don't know how I managed without it to be honest. Well worth the £99.99 :P

I am after a steelcase chair. I sat on one in a client's office the other day and they are immense! It was the high back one, think it's called the 'thought' chair.

I got one at Ikea which I haven't built yet, a mesh one which has good lumbar support but after sitting in the steelcase if I can get one for under £250 I would be happy.

Can't seem to find any uk suppliers though...any advice?

Odd, I've had the below for 3 years now with no problems:
