Afternoon guys. I have just upgraded my computer and currently have 3 games installed. Battlefield 4, Sim City and Black Ops 2.
Currently when I play black ops 2 I can get half way through a game and the computer shuts off. No sign of slow down or anything just cuts off completely. I am unable to turn the computer back on for 5 Minutes minimum. Although the motherboard light is still on green. This does't happen with the other 2 games.
Current specs are
600W Power supply
FX 8320 8 Core CPU
Asus M5A97 Motherboard
650 TI Graphics Card
1 x 8Gb Corsair XM3 Ram
1 x 500gb Seagate HDD
Windows 7 x64 Fully updated
If it was CPU i would assume the computer would slow first then turn off. never ever had a problem with a graphics card and it is more than enough to play the 3 games. Only other option i think is the 600W Power supply but then the motherboard has the green light on even after it has cut off. i seem to be stumped so would like some help if possible?
Also event Viewer shows nothing wrong
Thanks

If not, you simply can't have 16 deg on CPU. AMD's temps readings are often a fake.
