sorry i haven't posted anything but i have had a bad week 1st losing my internet then i deleted a weeks worth of photos, i could just swear

sorry not to much for you but i have almost finished my shelves

this unit will be housing my modem and maybe some games or speakers

the bottom section with house my dvd rom and my fan controller and maybe a usb 3 hub and the top will be dvd's

just a little update, its been nice weather today so i have been outside topping up my tan and doing a lot of sanding

just been cleaning up the edges for my fan mounts and dvd rom surround its starting to really take shape now

here's the 1st attempt at fitting the surround but it needed a lot more sanding

it fit nice now shame i cut it to big

just decided to put some more uprights for more support to see how things go

well the next to pictures are the fan mounts in situ, but things were going to well i took them out and dropped them and broke them, i will try and fix them but might have to remake them

well i hope your liking my build, more to come

i decided to change it a bit, i have now put in 2 more front struts to help with support for the top and glass

and started to fit the fronts, but i have decided it i will put slots in it for the fans or have 240 fan grills on the front

now with both fitted

atm i cant decide, but i still have time

and i just got myself a little help as i have be struggling to cope with the hardwork cutting all the wood with my disability

back on the grind again thought i would start on the front of the desk now, starting to take shape now and its looking good

so much sanding both my arms are dead lol

so i had to remake my fan mounts but they do look a lot better if i say so myself and do you like my spray booth

so as i had the primer out i thought i would to a little work on one off the towers

now i have done the primer so i decided to fit them 1st one down

and both done now

i have been trying to mount the psu but the way i want it is a pain so back on it tomorrow

thanks dt15 sorry its been awhile, but the weather is killing me its to hot then again i still have been busy. i had to make a cutout for the motherboard because the desk is quite small,i have been having a few problems as in the layout of the hardware so i have been playing with a few ideas.

i have decided to go with my original plan

but as the io panel is on the left of the desk and not the rear due to space, i have been trying to workout the best way of covering my cables and this is what i have come up with

now this is the back of the io panel so i can get access from underneath

sorry i haven't updated in a while but been having a few problems with the weather wot a pain

just been doing a lot of sanding to tidy things up

had another test fit just to make sure i haven't messed anything up

how the top is almost finished just need to do a bit of routering

i have just received something from overclockers and i think it will be a great item to add to my desk, pictures to follow

Hope your using a face mask when sanding all that MDF, the fibres are nasty stuff.

well just had another delivery from overclockers an nice corsair link kit

i do really like the brushed stainless on the Corsair Link Commander looks smart

here's the fan Corsair Link Cooling Node

and next is the Corsair Link Lighting Node

bit of a change now started on my cable braiding, i think im in a bit of a mess lol

here's my makeshift atx pin removal tool

half way through im almost there

well sorry for no update been ill for awhile and built my new workshop, well really its a shed lol

i have also changed my motherboard and chip to

asus z87-pro and i7 4770k

well it almost done just a few bits of cosmetics to finish.

Congrats dude, that's a nice looking table, as far as holding your components in 1 area, I always thought the desk would be the best place for that.

looks great though, I'd love to be able to do something like this, but I lack the tools and can't justify buying them for 1 table ^_^
