A few thousand IIRC, not a realistic purchase in most peoples books.

Not being much help to the OP but can someone post pics of their Mikael desk so I can get an Idea of it's size... I have a 26inch widescreen HDTV and a 20inch WS TFT to fit on it.

Can't find the glass top on the Ikea site either :o

People spend similar amounts on other furniture, a desk is no different imo.

gurdas - what are those speaker?

They were my old altec lansing ada 885 4.1 dolby digital/thx speakers. They were BLOODY loud, now replaced by my logitech z5500 digitals, which are about 4 times louder.........

nice desk gurdas, my ideal computer desk is just a large simple single lvl desk. I despise those multi-level style ones with everything on a separate level.

The IKEA Jerker with an extra slelf or two (they do a vertical extension now as well) is an excellent computer desk. Large and rock solid.
got the same one rotten name though

Another vote for the Jerker.
Ive got the version with the indent in the front for by belly. Excellent desk. And the design of the addons for it mean that you can build your own addons if you so require. :)

cheers, I really like them

Think i've posted mine before in an old thread, but i'll post again. It's a pair of wiremesh trestles and a simple glass top. Nice and subtle i think. Bought from Habitat.

Id hate that, the whole thing of having storage under the keyboard tray, you'd have your seat adjusted to the right height for the keyb/mous but then whenever you need to reach any of that stuff you gotta shove the chair back get on your knees and avoid catching your head on the metal rail of the keyboard tray on your way back up

KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!1!
