computer failing to boot after bios upgrade

223GB Crucial CT240BX500SSD1 ATA Device (SATA (SSD)) 35 °C
isn't that your boot drive?

That needs added to your boot group.

You have many other hd's connected, try removing their cables leaving only the ssd and remove the usb 3 key

If your ssd isn't listed in the boot options then I guess your other drives will be there. You will need to push the ssd further up the boot list.

right after two stressful days and loads of lost applications I'm nearly there. full reboot with all but one drive removed reinstalled.

but even though I reinstalled a newer bios and swapped to achi the new 6tb drive shows up but still wont come on line saying I/o error every time I try to initialise it
