Computer Lagging from SSD

Hi all,

I installed an OCZ Agility 3 120GB into my PC about 2 months ago.
It contains my OS and heavy programs such as Adobe and 3D Programs (3DS Max & Maya)

I've noticed lately on what seems to be random intervals, my PC will completely freeze up, i've managed to have task manager open during times when its happend, and it is definitely my SSD that is at 100% during these freeze/crash intervals. After maybe 10-20 seconds, it will all return to normal.

Any suggestions?

Update the BIOS on the SSD and possibly the BIOS for the motherboard.

For performance benefits ensure your controller is in AHCI mode

Hi, um i have a problem with updating the SSD firmware.

OCZ states you cannot update the drive while running windows from it.

Don't they provide a Linux based option for this eventuality?

I had that just last night with my SSD (Crucial) so might be different. Anyway, next boot the BIOS couldn't find the SSD so I had to power cycle it and its now OK 'touch wood'
