Looks like Im not the only one with this problem, could someone have a look at this please? Is it a malfunction between AMD Phenom and my Asus motherboard?
I have no other psu to try, but I am now running off integrated graphics, with my ATI Radeon hd 5700 card temporarily removed. If it still crashes, I am going to remove ram one by one, then swap psu. If all of that fails- I will RMA the motherboard.
Ok now my computer screen crashed on Integrated graphics. It froze, and the screen displayed loads of vertical blue/green lines on my screen. Its obvious my computer is dying big style, but can someone please tell me whether it is the psu or motherboard?
There comes a point to stop posting on forums and take it to a shop before you wipe put all your system parts. there is no way any forum member can tell you 100% what is wrong without touching the system
i'm still sticking with the PSU..... Is there no way you can borrow one off a friend or something?
I agree with Dave0w here though, you should take it to a shop to diagnose the problem properly as there is only so much advice that can be given on a forum.
it sounds like it either motherboard, cpu, ram or psu. so unless you have the spares to swap out, then its probably time to either take it to a shop, or buy a new pc
