Computer tricks to play on people?

There used to be a powerpoint presentation claiming to use your screen as a camera but instead popped up some hideous looking thing instead. The funny part was watching people align themselves with the monitor for the photo to be taken.

Always a favourite. Especially when you replace common words with swear words. Don't forget to set word as his default e-mail editor.
Also for a ball mouse. Remove the ball and stick sellotape over the rollers, replace ball.

When i was at school our IT techs had a program that they would use to remotely monitor students (activity monitor or something), well we managed to get a licensed copy of it.
cue being able to remotely shut down, or send messages, or bring up websites remotley from computers on the network.
this was hilarious especially when a teacher would be using a computer on the projector, and you could bring up images of your choosing, or just shut their computer down. good times.

A fun twist on the desktop screenshot one:
Make a folder called 'Porn' on their desktop. Print screen, set as desktop, delete the folder. Works especially well if it's a computer belonging to someone, but several people use. Done it to my brother

Get a windows error up, print screen, paste it in powerpoint, full screen the powerpoint then say oh my computers on this error and it wont click off.
Then if you do the same slide for say 5-10 clicks then finally on the last one just put n00b! or something like that lol.

yea theres a free one called tight vnc which allows all of this
i had great fun replicating the matrix in word on my friends laptop
