Computers crashing now struggling to reinstall windows . Advice help please

Seems okay to me although it seems like it's only on Pass 1 still. Hopefully that's the 6 sticks that are okay then and the other 2 may well be the faulty ones.

Been running for 8 hours no errors nothing will leave it till I got bed tonight to switch off .

Will try and get windows reinstalled tomorrow and hopefully can get going again .

Need to call the company I bought the ram off too and see how I go about getting it swapped .
Got a feeling there’ll want all 4 Modules sending back ?

I get the same feeling unfortunately, hopefully they'll let you send just the two faulty modules back. Did you buy both sets from the same supplier?

Yes bought both sets from same supplier beginning of December one set 4x16 and the other set 2 weeks ago .

Back when I had an issue with faulty RAM I narrowed it down to one DIMM but still had to send the whole set back.

Worth asking them if you can send the two faulty sticks back. Hopefully they'll let you.

Morning

Rang up the supplier need to send the 4 modules back . They will test them and then send me a new batch .

Dpd pick up tomorrow 3-5 working days .

Still have the other 64gig left so just reinstalling windows now .

Also to be a pain my Aorus extreme pre sets the ram for me but on my last set up I set the trimmings myself .

Would it be best to set the timinings myself and up the voltage a bit ?

And what would the timmings be as I’m only running at 2100 atm I think and the lpx vengeance is 3000mhz 16-20-20-38 1.35v
