On BBC 1 now. Good film but by god I hate Nick Cage! He just never looks right for a role and his terrible accent is like nails being dragged down a chalkboard.

He makes me cringe, but the films worth it for Steve Buscemi near the end :p

Buscemi's great in this.

I really like Cage. I especially like his accent :D Have you seen Leaving Las Vegas or Adaptation? They might change your mind about him.

I've never seen this, although Simon Pegg seems to love it in 'How to lose friends and Alienate people'!!

Nic Cage is a good actor who recognises that he's got to pay bills and as such, has accepted many shoddy roles to make ends meet.

He's had some excellent roles. Leaving Las Vegas being the main one.

You didn't even watch the youtube clip because it goes through most of his famous films, not just Faceoff.
It's late and I've been drinking (coincidentally, my favourite excuse) :p

I thought Leaving Las Vegas and Adaptation were great. The Rock, Con Air, Lord of War, 8mm, Snake Eyes, Face/Off, Honeymoon in Vegas and Rumblefish were enjoyable too. He's better than people give him credit for.

I like his films, but I just think sometimes he says a line in a film that isn't meant to be funny, yet I still end up sniggering. :p

I think he was quite good in Gone in 60 Seconds, and Lord of War.

Like Steven Seagal, I enjoy watching Nicolas Cage films just for the hilarious acting. Saying that, he has been in some cracking films, notably Lord of War.
