Con Air

Anyone who thinks Nick Cage can't act needs to watch Adaptation. I've no idea why he comes across as so inept in some of his films though, he just keeps picking the wrong roles.
 
I agree with most, Cage is an average actor but has managed to get into some fantastic films. I just wonder if those films would have been as good without him as the main role.

And I agree with Von Helmet, without Connery, the Rock wouldn't be anywhere near as good as it is.
 
I used to really like him but he's made some tosh in recent years...

Next, Knowing, Ghost Rider to name a few.

Leaving Las Vegas is his best performance in my opinion, brilliant film.

yea hes made some right clangers, most of his 90s films were good but after that meh....

most films after the 80's and 90s started to go down hill imo though so the scripts probably did to
 
Missed the first half hour but ended up watching anyway, great film if you ignore cage, also is it just me or is Cyrus quite a likable bad guy?

I really want to see a good film like this where the cool bad guy wins for once, especially if Cage is the good guy he's up against! :p
