How far are you guys into this (spoiler free if poss)? Im playing on medium at the moment its still quite a challenge at some point (until you learn patterns). Liking it so far though, been trying to max out all my combos ive learned so far. The counters are very gory (which is nice) cant seem to get them to specific one when i want to ie most of the time its the chop em in half one which ive already mastered. I do keep holding on to the throw button sometimes to try and control the object Heavenly Sword style though.
 
Just killed the elephant, fun stuff :) Playing it on hard, doesn't seem too difficult, just a couple of annoying bits but not enough to make me lose my temper :p

Just Ahead of you, once you learn the Boss patterns its quite easy and like you say not annoying or control chucking!
 
Traded in Blue Dragon and some others for it this afternoon.

Good so far, but i cant for the life of me master parrying and when I do manage it always **** up the button press lol. guess in just a tard lol.

Think i'm just about to kill the elephant.
 
Started playing it last night, didn't really get very far into the game but it is surprisingly good so far. Wasn't expecting much from the game but it does appear to have some fun moments
 
Must be near the end of the game now. Have to say its one of the most enjoyable games i've played on the 360.

None at all.

Finished this on hard last night and restarted on King difficulty. I really enjoyed this game, it's tremendous fun.

I would have liked to have seen an arena mode where you're just against a constant horde of enemies, would be great fun :)
 
I love this game! Got it yesterday and played for a couple of hours. I just have a feeling I will be trading it in within a week.
 
At last mastered the counters :D

Just beaten the snake woman i am getting used to the fighting system now which is making it more fun to play when you actually start chopping the crap out of a huge group of people :D:D:D
 
Finished it last night as well. Found the press * button now sections at the end a bit infuriating, but other than that its been a fantastic game.

How long did it take? Does it offer anything else when you replay?

Im considering getting this myself as its actually not very expensive in a certain store. I dont own any of the GOW games so i should enjoy this more than most as it will be something new
 
My total play time appears to be around 7 hours, so not massively long. There is some scope for replay as its unlikely you'll get all the achievements in one run through the game, you can also ramp up the difficulty to "King" mode.

Yep, it's great when it just kinda clicks and you can go on a rampage and chop hordes of people to pieces :p

I'd go with 360 for the achievement points. Often you would be best to go with the machine the game was originally developed for as it usually looks a little better and contains less bugs. I'm not sure which Conan was developed for though, my guess would be 360, anyone know for sure?
