Yeah ive noticed when i find a bird theres lots of flies buzzing around, and i know what you both mean now black eyes, and lookie things, i found a piece of metal YAY!!, and i noticed the wall was covered in different sized black eyes lol, loads of em, and ive passed loads like that in the first level. :D

I like the way it comes up with the little pic of the D-pad, and you can ram, punch them etc... its great. :D

Im sure i saw one of them crawlie fellows when i got the lift back on. :eek:

Ye it great that little feature to make it better would be do moves with your weapon in that mode though :)
 
I'm in the library at the moment. Had it since launch but can't play it too long/often as it either makes me tired or irritable, I just find I get wound up with it sometimes. I'm at a bit now where I'm faced with about 4 guys, 2 with guns and in a confined space. Just can't for the life of me survive long enough to do anything.
Having said that I do really like it, couldn't dream of selling it till I've finished it.

Use the Tazer and steal their gun :)
 
argh, that bit is awful (4 guys, 2 with guns) Second time round when I was re-playing it for the birds/metal I actually got stuck between two boxes and they kept taking pot shots at me till I died! :(

I find that a bit annoying when you can get stuck, like between boxes as you say, i mean surely he can just kick em out the way, and another thing, when he uses the phone, its a mobile so why can't he move.

He can move when he's on his mobile sometimes. Other times he is stuck to the spot
 
I would guess that would be so you don't wander off into another area with baddies and end up not getting the information because you're busy getting your head smacked in. :p
 
great game. Hand to hand combat is a lot better than what I thought and is usually something that FPS mess up. It's so good I don't actually like using guns lol. Still find it quite hard at times, especially when trying to know when to block. I'm not kicking people though (totally forgot) so think that's where I'm going wrong.

When is the best time to do it? When you block?
 
I keep forgetting ive got the Taser, just had a guy put a cap in my ass in the Metro Station, and another trying to chop me in to little bits with the fire-axe, and one trying to bash my skull in with a sign lol. :(
 
First time i went into subway i **** myself as their a guy sitting on the bench and i never noticed him and crack from behind and i was outta their. :D
 
Is anyone having problems with it saving, mines not saving anymore, ive finished the bit where you have to follow the suspect after you spew on the floor after he's give yer a beating, and then ive done a bit of the next bit where you go down the escalator and theres that guy sitting on the bench with the fire-axe, the other guy comes with the gun, and then one comes with a sign, past there and its came up saving twice at the right so far, yet everytime i reload it is taking me back to just after ive spewed, so i have to go through all the next bits again, and the saves that its done after that are not saving. . :confused:

weird.

I deleted my save game because I wanted to start again. Played the first chapter and then when I tried to save it the screen went all flickery and it said my save file was corrupt. :|

Not tried it again, will give it another go tonight.
 
Ive had to resort to manually saving it, otherwise it wont save, once it come up saving i just go and save myself, as if i don't ill be back to where i spewed just after i got attacked by the suspect. :(
 
really is a great game :)

love the way you can just rip pipes and things off the wall and beat people with them :)

snapping their necks i think is my fav of the finishing moves :) just so satisfying when you've been stuck on a bit for ages, they keep killing you, then you "lay the smack down" on them, then just to add insult to injury, break their neck

also has an incredible atmosphere with it. dolby digital really sounds great.

you walk into a room, kind of strafing slowely, expecting death from all sides and hear something go bump behind you in the rear speakers, you spin round quickly only to find it was you just knocking a box over or something, or you can hear footsteps behind you, only to find it was you walkin through a puddle or something

great fun :)
