Condemned - Do I unwrap it?

Well im not happy now, im well bloody stuck, im at this bit where theres loads of tramps etc... trying to bash me face in, loads of cops about, one cop shooting me and it coming up saying get to the gate before the cop puts a bullet in you, but i cant as its running about 10fps as theres about 4 tramps on screen, and when i get to the gate it does bugger all, he can't open it, can't climb over it so i die wtf gives, and how come the gits don't die, i found the shottie hidden under the bin, but when i shoot em, either in the heads/body thye just jump back, and then keep coming, where the **** did they get the bullet proof clothing from. :(

Keep away from the action, wait for the tramps to come to you, when you get the prompt to get away, run like hell to the gate, take out the tramps and you're through.

The sign weapon is perhaps the best on this bit, far reach and lots of power.
 
Ill give it a go, but when i was getting shot of the cop and having to get to the gate, i got there but nothing happened i was just running into it, it didn't open, he would'nt climb over it, so i got shot. :(

10fps? I didn't really notice much slow down in condemned. Here's some help from Gamefaqs as I know the bit you're on about.

Try to survive until one hobo will kick in a fence door then run through here. Hop into the bin and give those stowaways a good smack.

Edit: Bah beaten to it, damn users dragging me away from my desk when I'm in the middle of posting!
 
Yeah its not exactly 10fps, might be just under 20, but it does slow down on that bit, so i have to wait for a hobo to kick a hole in the fence, bit daft then as it tells you to get through the gate. :confused:

EDIT: YAY!! done it, i saw a hobo come belting through the gate so i made a run for it. :D

/Me hands LoadsaMoney a new pair of pants, in fact I set up a stall selling them to fellow members.

Starting to replay this again now to get the missing metal peices, never looked out for "eyes" before so missed quite a few.

Im well stuck, gota get the fire-axe of that hobo, as i ned to get into the server room, but the other gits have got shotties. :(
 
Hee hee, theres a bit in the library level that will scare you silly, guess you're not there yet :p Just try and use some of the cupboards as shields when dealing with the shotties, they're very easy to take down. Wait for them to reload and charge at them with a strong weap.

Resurrection here. :)

Anyone have any tips of how to get past the swimming pool in the school bit, ive only got the paper cutter, and the gits just keep grabbing me, and by the time ive sticked myself free, and righted my viewing angle im dead. :(
 
Well, grab the paper cutter and then run and make your way to the top of the pool, there's a machine gun.

Take them out with the machine gun, any left use the paper cutter. There's only about 7 zombies to kill before your dream ends.

Ive just been trying to hit and run at the bottom. :D
 
I wasn't keen on this when a first started it, but after the first couple of levels its a cracking game, nice graphics and great gameplay.
I opened a cabinet and got a health pack...walked around the corner, and heres another cabinet...opened it and fek me this thing jumped out makin loadsa noise..jumped out me skin lo0ol, very immersive in a good way.

one thing i've just come across...i had to reload a level as i was walking down some steps, then i was walking on air, in the dark, flashlight didnt work, and lots of tearing. reminded me of a graphics card not being configured properly. very strange, hope it was just a bug and not me machine playing up.

i've only got 3 games for it and they're all bloody great :D

Haha yeah got me that one, was a hobo woman i think, she bursts out when you open the door, boy did i scream, nearly had a heart attack here. :D

Never had that happen with the flashlight etc..., and im a canny way through it now i think, about chapter 9, or whatever the Apple Orchard one is. :)
