Don't try and justify me saying rising damp is an insult towards the op.. how absurd.

The op hasn't said either that he has several people in the house or that their are very frequent showers, he hasn't said that so going on your view, i could argue that you are also insulting the op.

He doesn't need to say it, nor did i say he did. I'm merely mentioning statistically its more likely that several or more people live in a given house versus said given house having rising damp. Thats what makes your assessment of
