Conroe E6600 Temps?

Started to OC my E6600 at the mo im at 3.33 Ghz but cpu V is about 1.45 V (failed prime at 1.4) gonna run torture test for a bit longer and if ok drop the volts down. Anyway Both cores run at 68 using core temp on 100% load, is this a bit high? Seen others with higher temps but is this temp safe to run 24/7 or should i drop down a bit? I know that the cpu wont normally run at 100% on both cores but If its ok think im gonna go for 3.4 next if prime is stable at current.

i have the same problem as well, whne i turn onn the q-fan using the performance profile, my chassis fans rotate about 1100rpm at most and my cpu fan rotate about 500rpm.

when its off they rotate at full throttle like your self?

i wouldnt mind just getting the cpu fan jusy to rotate about 1000rpm

whats your q-fan profile?

thanks

My Cpu fan I have running in optimal mode, and thats about 1000rpm for me. If I choose performance it will do 2500 rpm but its a bit noisy so i dont use that. Both my fans on the heatsinks run in optimal and they are 5000 rpm on the pwrfan1/2 connect, and I have a zalman on my x1900xt and that plugs in to chasis header and I use a controler for that.

A bit OT, but how effective is the Zalman on the X1900? Am thinking about getting one to replace the stocky cooler, as it's a real noisy bugger. The only thing that's putting me off atm is the thought that of the additional heat generated by having a fan without an external exhaust.
