Conroe out July 23rd!!!

Ahm how come the thread title says JUNE 23rd but the article says July 23rd? lol June 23rd would have been awesome because im building my first ever rig after college ends. :(

Yep OcUK are very good with that sort of stuff, look at AM2...it was on pre-order on Saturday (IIRC) even though official launch was two days ago.

Pretty sure the thread title is a typo, July makes is the first month of Q3 which is when Conroe was set to launch. June would make it Q2.

Man Conroe really does look amazing, I can't wait to get my hands on one.
I am supprised cause I always been with AMD never thought I would ever go with Intel.
But all the hype and such over this chip has made me think otherwise.

LOL. Waiting 18 months 'for the best' is just retarded.

In six months time, AMD could be back on top with K8L, or in twelve months time with K10.

Personally, I'd buy whatever is best at the time of my upgrade rather than wait 18 months for my favourite manufacturer to produce something worthwhile. ;)

But yea, I'm queuing in an orderly fashion (whilst holding a Sharpened Katana). Now, 23rd July out? I'm building my rig near end of August - you think most of the good overclocking MoBos will be out by then?
