Console Screen size ??

I play on a 19" widescreen Hanns G monitor or a 32" Toshiba Regza depending on who's watching TV. The 19" is fine though and in many ways I prefer it as I sit closer to it and I'm slightly short sighted to have to wear glasses to use the 32" TV as I sit further away from it.

I may as well slap my e-peen on the table, 110" here, although tbh I prefer my 32" lcd for gaming, I sit about 4 feet away from it, blu-ray defo bigger the better but for gaming 32" is fine, once 1080p becomes the norm then I'll consider upgrading, one thing I will say though is that if I was to choose a larger screen then it would have to be plasma over LCD.

40" Sony LCD 1080p looks great, my mate upstairs in my block of flats wanted me to swap mine for his Samsung 50" plasma 720p but I said no. Even though sit about 7-8 feet away, I like my 1080p :p

There was a study showing that a 22" sized screen was amongst the most popular or most suited to gaming on consoles. Can't seem to find it though..

Depends on the position of the screen more than anything - ive moved my room about and my 29" has gone from a desk to the left of me to the high on the wall to my right, i really need a 32" for the position its in now.

I think most current gen actually run at less than 720p in a lot of games.

He speaketh the truth - GTA4 for example is only rendered in 630p on the PS3. The console then upscales this to the user-set output resolution.

And I game on a 32", though I would sell my soul for a 65" Kuro and 7 nice B&W speakers :(
