Console Streaming PC

Hi Gents, thank you for all your help with this. Hopefully 1 final question, why would the pc not boot if the 2 front USB ports are in use? Laptop, mouse, USB microphone headphones all cause the same issue. However, if I remove them then it boots without fail. The ports work once the PC boots and I then use the ports with any of the devices. If I turn the pc off with them in use and restart it then it won't boot.
Thank you in advance.

Sounds like your PC is configured to boot from USB so when the PC is first turned on it has to identify all the devices connected, it must be having an issue trying to identify a device hence why it's getting stuck.

Does the same happen when the devices are plugged into the rear USB ports on the PC?

Ok, so I have made sure all the drivers & BIOS is up to date. I have disconnected the front USB ports and reconnected them. I still have the issue!
I turn it on, if I have a USB device plugged into the front 2 ports then it won't boot until I unplug it, then it works fine. Once it boots I can use the 2 front ports with no problems.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you for all your help so far.

Okay... I can see a few people have recommended some of this but I just want to check it all before I ask my HQ to check.

You have the latest BIOS installed and USB is not set as a boot option in any of the BIOS menus. Is it any device being inserted into the USB front slot that stops the system from booting, even the USB keyboard for example?

seen this on the product description for Kolink just now ...

Front Ports: 2 x USB3.0 (with USB2.0 convertor), HD-Audio x 1, Mic x 1

alex, kolinks description isn't very good, but is the front USB 3 points plugged into the Mobo's USB 3.0 header on the bottom right hand of the board or is it plugged into the USB pins bewteen USB 3.0 and sata ports ?

******* right, skip to 4:45 Mins in. you'll see the USB 3.0 cable - has 2 other cables branching out of it by the looks of it .

Big plug is the USB 3.0 female connection but you also see the Blue USB 2 female header which is part of the wiring. can you CONFIRM you havent plugged BOTH IN! ?

Some one made a comment on part two of the video about the USB 3/2 cable

Yeah mate I think the intent with the USB header is to connect either 2 or 3, not both.

You know what. You are right. I forgot about the fact that this case only has USB 3.0. I am so used to plugging in USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 headers in on other cases.

he plugged both in

if both are in, might be enough to send mobo into a bit of a fit/rage as it has no idea, when windows is up and running, the OS/Driver might auto default to switch USB version would be used

Good shout given OPs experience - easy solution if he has.

Sorted it!

Thank you all very much for the time taken to help me sort this out, I appreciate it.

Hello all, thanks once again for all of the above advice.

I have had the system for close to a year now and it's been brilliant. I am looking at possibly swapping out the HD60 pro for a graphics card and wanted your advice. I would be playing COD Warzone and wanted to know based upon the current system and your recommended graphics card what quality I should expect from the gameplay?
