I'll start by saying that i rely on public transport as i don't drive, we have had endless changes to times. 4 times in the last year in fact!

Now the council has handed the tender for the sunday service to a different provider which now renders my season pass on a Sunday completely useless unless i cough up more money. Where do i stand on complaining about it? I know it's probably a lost cause as they'll probably do nothing about it.

I did ask citizens advise and they suggested to complain to the council first closely followed by my local MP. Is there nothing in the tender agreement that forces the provider taking over the service to honour previously held season passes?

Improve your position in life by getting a car or working hard towards one for the imminent future.

If riding the bus isn't enough motivation to get it then surely their timetables will.

Apologise in advance if you have a legit medical reason.

I suspect both the bus companies will be no help and just point to the terms and conditions. Your best bet would be the council. They'll either turn around and say "part of the agreement is you can use your pass" and if so get that in writing as it may just be uneducated drivers. Or they'll say "sorry just be glad the bus service is running on Sunday". As even having a bus on a Sunday at a cost is better than no bus at all? I suspect the original bus company wasn't breaking even on Sunday's.

Get a bike? Or is the distance too far? (Also bikes cost money, and it's autumn/soon winter). I HATE getting buses.

Best contact the council and get something in writing (do it in writing), as said above. Sorry that's not entirely helpful.
