Content aware fill in Photoshop CS5

it takes a lot of practise and skill to do that currently - time and effort i have put in to get to a reasonable standard.
makes me kinda happy and sad at the same time to see the vid. be nice to have more time away from the 'digital darkroom' though.
 
That does look impressive, are you sure it wasn't supposed to be released on April 1st?!

Sadly just found out I'm being made redundant so unless I get a new job with access to photoshop, no CS5 goodness for me! :(
 
thats fantastic , would be great for people you can just spend hours or have the ability to do it
 
I'l get excited when I can use it myself. It's pretty useless judging the tool for serious editing on a standard YouTube video. They've made a lot of these new tools look very good on web but simply aren't used in proper production as they're still for speed over quality, and you can often see the traits in poorly retouched images.

That said, if it really does work like that, then win. Of course the current patch tool is already pretty content aware so long as it doesn't get too complicated.
 
well spank me thats a massive update I can not wait to rescue me when and if I am going to need it (of course I will)

Its a fantastic tool I just hope that peoples technique doesn't take a day or two off because they can easily repair half arsed attempts.

Theres always two sides to the coin :)
