Am getting this error on a vbulletin board, never seen it before and can't find out how to resolve it. Any ideas. Initial searches point to a browser problem, but I've trieed it in several and all the same.

Do you have Gzip enabled on the server? If you have a server with mod_gzip running on it by default, and you also have the Gzip settings of vBulletin turned on, you're likely to get something like this, I would imagine... Try turning Gzip off in vBulletin.

After you've done that, use this tool to find out whether Gzip compression is already enabled on the server and whether it was running twice.

Thanks for your help. I turned off gzip in vbulletin, it then produced an sql error, from which I was able to trace the problem. Can't see how gzip is connected to sql but hey, it's and running again
thanks
