Control Alt Delete Dus not work ??????

click on Start > Run and type in "taskmgr"
See if that does anything.

If so then check and make sure that all 3 keys actually work when you press one at a time. Might be a hardware problem...

Do other Windows shortcuts work?
Like Winkey + E to open Explorer?

Try removing the keyboard from device manager and rebooting.

Just a few ideas for ye :)

Click start, then run. In the run window type "iexplore.exe" (without the quotes) and once Internet Explorer comes up type "http://tinyurl.com/1o62" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Copy + Paste the original post into the box and click "Check text!" - should fix your problem just lovely :)

PS. On a more serious note, give your computer a reboot and run a spyware checker.

Check the registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
For the key DisableTaskMgr and make sure it is set to 0 (zero).

Does shift+ctrl+del work at all?

Start > Run > "regedit"

Then just navagate to the location above.

Also check and make sure that you do have a file called taskmgr.exe in c:\windows\system32

If that doesnt work, you dont have a virus, spyware, etc etc
then I'd suggest a rebuild is in order.

have you run a spyware checker? Spybot search & destroy?

Try helping yourself by running that and then maybe people will be able to suggest other things!

Looks and sounds like spyware.

Try start run "msconfig" and choose diagnostic startup. When you restart you should be able to check the registry. Also when in msconfig have a look under the startup tab for anything that shouldn't be there.
