Can you run it again, this time choose to run a scan and save log file.

When the scans finishes a notepad window will open with your log in it, copy and paste the contents here.

I was being a numpty, ignore this post, i'll edit it again if I have something usefull to say

Boot your machine in Safe Mode and then see what you can do. Also run a spyware scan in safe mode if it will let you. This is almost certainly spyware, so you can start by downloading and running this. To get into safe mode, you need to press F8 on bootup before the windows loading screen appears.

Hmmm well initially I would have said there is no spyware shown in that log, however I am not convinced by the entry

04 - Global startup: svchost.xe

Now before you say it I am aware that SVCHOST is a valid process however it isnt normally in your startup like that.

Am looking into it now and will be back.

Ok so that is deffinitely a virus/spyware.

Reboot into safe mode, run HiJackThis again, put a check next to the:

04 - Global Startup: SVCHOST.exe

Then go to START > RUN and type in: C:\docume~1\all users\start menu\programs\startup\

Then find the file called SVCHOST.exe (only delete the one in this location not anywhere else).

Reboot back into to normal windows and download a copy of Ewido install it and update it then run a full scan of your system.

Once done paste a new HJT log here (please post the log and not a screenshot of the log).
