Control Resonant

It's hard to tell from the trailers, but my hope is that you'll be hugely powerful, at least after a bit of upgrading, with the ability to fly/float for prolonged periods, massive telekinesis ability so you can wang stuff about all over the place and basically the ability to go full Akira (or Tetsuo, for those who like the film).
 
Can't say that I'm hyped. Graphics could be nice, but the gameplay seems like a very faaaar away departure from the first game - not that being constrained to The Oldest House was nice.

Resonant's combat looks more interesting to me and more my style of action game, but I like Control a lot and it's combat was really fun (if a little limited imo).

Very close to Alan Wake 2's recommended requirements, just slightly more demanding for the graphics card it seems.

I think the gameplay can simply be described as wack given what has been seen so far.
 

Wow it look really amazing, think the new updated NorthLight engine will have huge improvements over the last game when Alan Wake 2 started development back in Aug 2019 at the same time when Control released on 29 Aug 2019.

Going from gunplay to melee is a huge change and I hope they pull it off.

I do trust Remedy to make this a great game but there is part of me that's disappointed it's not an evolution of Jesse's story and her gun.

Me either. Maybe we will find Jesse at the end the game then hopefully Control 3 will have an evolution of Jesse's story and her gun.
 
I really like the art direction of the game, everything in that trailer is just interesting to me.

Seems to all be from the early part of the game. Lots of combat footage here too, looks so much fun.
