Just completed this on XSX and absolutely loved it.

The polish, physics, smoothness etc all absolutely first rate.

Map is lame (doesn't load quickly at times) and aiming isn't easiest but still, solid 9/10. Loved Alan Wake too, can't remember much about Quantum Break except the final boss was annoying.

Anyway, thoroughly recommended and it's a no brainer all the while it's on gamepass!

Gave it a try via PS Plus - got as far as picking up a gun, then deleted it. Can't really put a finger on it, but other than looking quite nice, it didn't have enough to grab me, no doubt a longer play was needed, but I'm game rich at the moment and not time rich; so I need something that grabs me early on.

Totally agree. Just started playing this on gamepass expecting to be gripped due to how well reviewed/liked it is. But i got pretty bored by the story opening and the main characters motivations/actions didn't seem to make sense whatsoever. I just got the feeling the whole things is just going to be plot mcguffins and Deus Ex Machina the whole way through.

I felt a bit the same at first, but dig into the storyline and push on and you may be suprised.

I completed this the other week (ultimate edition). Its tricky in places but I enjoyed it. Its a strange game - the story feels abstract and incomprehensible but the world of the Bureau comes to life if you take the time to listen to and read the masses of files. I did feel the gameplay was somewhat repetitive but it never became a chore, although I think that's partly due to the fact its not an overly long game. There's not a lot to bring me back so its likely going to be a 1 time thing for me.

Overall - its a good game. Steady 7/10 for me.

For free on EPIC games ! I love that game. Another great story with a little bit of a twist gameplay.

Played right through Control at launch on the PC. It was an excellent experience and I plan to go back and play through it again at some point.

Finished it after getting on gamepass. I enjoyed it, though can be repetitive as going back into a room just mean respawn of baddies. Worth a little time to get into it
