No, I mean in the Nobility, it was common, only becoming frowned upon toward the later 12/13 centuries. Nobility often sealed treaties by sleeping together as a mark of trust.

I think you'll find it was actually the Muslims.

Nah I don't hate gays, I live with a lesbian and a gay, and we all get on really well. In fact they're both more manly than me lol
It should be pointed out that sleeping (and talking) was all that happened. The principle went like this: the king had people with him at all times, except when sleeping. To be allowed to sleep with him was to be allowed to have secret discussions with no advisers to interrupt. Homosexuality in itself was understood, but by no means tolerated. Whilst Edward II got in most trouble for allowing his male lovers to have undue influence over him, there's little doubt that his homosexuality was, in itself, a major reason for his downfall.
M

So was bum banditry illegal in them days?
Thought you and Housey were around in them days?
I still don't see you reasoning to why being gay is 'abnormal'
I don't think you can compare them to be honest
Well its hardly "normal" is it..
I define normal as being the views or actions of the majority..

I think you are meaning to say it's not common.
Saying it's not normal implies there is something wrong with it.
