I don't see the harm in locking the thread, it can't go anywhere productive from hereon. It will just deteriorate and get increasingly immature.

Asking for another member to be permabanned just because you disagree with his views leaves a bad taste in my mouth tbh.

He isn't overty offensive, if you don't want to participate then simply don't look at the thread. I'm sure if he steps over the line he will be dealt with by the moderators as they see fit, and not on your recommendation.

Use the rtm if you think he is offensive.

Well I think he is overtly offensive, which is my view, just like your view that he isn't.
And I have reported posts here that I deem to step over the line.
And moderators need our recommendation as they can't moderate everything.

It is incredibly weird how gay men go for other typical gay men, who look, dress and act most femininely. The whole point of being gay is liking men, not going for men who are halfway to becoming female? What's the point of being gay, just get a women if you like that?

They don't need your recommendation, you use the RTM and that brings it to their attention.

It isn't necessary to do anything else. You could try actually attempting to educate Jakee, rather than just dismissing him.

That is not true though.

I have a gay friend and he is far from being camp. In fact, he looks quite scary.

I was just repeating what I've seen done on this forum and others where some-one has gone on and nothing appeared to be done. But fair enough if it's an effective system here then they can respond to the posts.

I tried to educate him using the example of the filmed stags, but he seemed to have carried on his beastilty/gay thing and others educated him better.
And after this he even carried on with his lewd comments.

I don't think most people here, gay and straight alike, find him especially offensive.

Just use the ignore facility if you really don't like what he says.

I find camp people annoying too but then I also find the extremes of straight masculinity annoying.
