I don't think so, some recipe's I've seen have cooking times of 10+ hours.
do you think that free range beasts look lovingly at the slaughterer whilst being killed for an end purpose , yes organic free range may taste slightly nicer but i think theres a lot of mind games going on here.
Do these free range food beasts have a bupa plan that your eating ? there stupid animals there food. Stop talking tosh
No im not being troublesome its just that these chickens pigs cows are there for one reason to be eaten thats all. Apart from farmers getting a few more pennies and shops getting a lot more pennies i dont think the animals are so much happier do you before being destroyed for our meals ?
Cheap chicken in packs are usually bred entirely indoors, with no more room than an A4 sheet of paper each to move around in. Not that it matters, as they are pumped full of steroids to plump them up, their legs can barely support them, oh and most of them have burned legs anyway, as the sawdust they live in is rarely changed and soaked in urine.
Nice eh?![]()
Are you really saying it's ok to allow animals to live in terrible conditions, and a lot of the time, lots of pain, because eventually they will be slaughtered anyway?
How can you possibly think they only exist to serve us? Did natural selection evolve them into perfect protein packs, just for us?
No, of course not. They have every right to have a decent quality of life. I'm no lentil munching hippie, I love meat, but I believe that animals deserve massive amounts of respect, especially when they will be making the ultimate sacrifice for our benefit.
