Still trying to cook mine right now that i'm letting it get to room temp and let it rest etc
Tried twice now, third time tomorrow and both attempts have tasted worse then if i just did it without the resting etc.

Heating the griddle pan till its extremely hot, 'highest flame? on a gas hob.
Putting steak on, about 2 mins on each side as I like it rare/med rare.
Taking out and wrapping in tin foil for 5minutes, i just leave the tinfoil on the side.
Always seems to be too well done. Are you meant to put the heat back to lowest before putting the steak in? Might leave it to rest for a minute less, not to sure
