cooking wih AH2: fake Christmas

The Pol Remy sparkling wine... did someone bring that? Was drinking that in Cyprus, v.cheap and not bad at all!

 it's disgusting, I got it on one of my beer runs to France about 7 years ago. Finally got rid of it.

and that dessert wine, is the worst one I've ever tasted as well. Avoid at all costs.

So, I'm stealing AcidHell2 to cook my xmas dinners, his family can suck it and go without :p
Luckily enough I don't cook Christmas dinner for family, so theirs one problem to solve. Know when you say stealing. I hope I'm going to be rewarded with plenty of self refiling wine glasses whilst cooking and eating.

haha, maybe its not the same one im thinking of! could be the one i got from lidl once, which was disgusting! :D

That sounds more like it.

Bravo! that man!
Looks amazing; funnily enough, I was just thinking about doing beefsteak tartar .... someone said to add a few anchovy fillets to it; actually, that particular mate says add anchovy to many things because it's like garlic, brings out the flavour of everything else yet when cooked in, doesn't overpower the dish.

I prefer to use a little nam pla (asian fish sauce) rather than anchovies, it really helps bring out the flavor of beef and other red meats believe it or not, you need really taste though because a little goes a long way if you're not used to it. Anchovies are good sparingly in the same sense, and you need to make sure you get good ones otherwise they absolutely stink and taste vile.

@AcidHell2, that looks good, personally i'd have just did a traditional well dressed tomato bruscetta with the lemon prawns cooked on the side though, just picking though I would definitely gulp that down if it was put in front of me (im a prawn fiend).
