Can't eat shelled critters myself, well I can but in best interests not to they have their revenge later with an annoying irritation in the mouth/throat which lasts for some hours.

I think its quite quaint how on the ocuk forums, anyone expressing a tendancy towards the positive treatment of animals and animal welfare is by and large soundly ridiculed for their trouble. A particular favourite of mine was the rat shredding thread. I can't remember the name of the OP in that thread but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he popped up in a minute to have a quick gloat, safe in the knowledge that the people who run the forums agree with him.

I don't think that's true, at least I do not. The positive treatment of animals is in my mind only a good thing - what's wrong is telling people that have been cruel when they are made genuine attempts to avoid cruelty.

The OP was Rainmaker, a breeder of working terriers, also killing of rats/rabits using dogs in that matter is probably the most efficient way of doing it.

I just wish my dog could catch rabbits so I didnt have to buy them to feed them to him.
