Cool Trick From Dynamo

What are you on about?

I mean that the quote you quoted in reference to feeling "sorry for him"...that there is no "him" , the original quote you referenced was a made up quote , hence there being no user named Thick Cockney, the quote was made up as a sarcastic comment on the intelligence level of the average cockney I suspect :)

Someone in the video said that.

People love this guy. He is the only 'magician/illusionist/whatever' I have seen where I instantly know how he has done it.

He is terrible.

it reminds me of david blaines levetation trick that always cut away to a rear shot of actors legs as he raised off the floor then cut back to idiots screaming at how great it was.

Dynamo's is very similar but not as good as the version on America's got talent, you have to look more carefully to see how that one is done.

Go on, how did he do it?
He seemed to walk on with a stick and then just balance in the air but I have no idea how he did it.

Haha, the America's Got Talent thing is stupid. I dunno how he did it, but judging by the terrible play acting from the crew and judges, the show probably had some hand in helping him perform it to boost ratings.

He is probably suspended from the ceiling.

Or his stick (metal rod) went into a hole in the stage and he basically sat down on a similar contraption to the one in the Indian video

Christ some of you really know how to moan in here! Take it for what is it, which is just a bit of fun. We all know it's not real, but how often do you see someone hanging on to the side of a bus in London?

Loads

He tries so hard, anyone with half a brain cell would surely look at something like that or his walking on water thing and rationally think if that's physically possible and then within half a second think nope. Oh and not to mention it's been set up by Pepsi!

July 7th 2005.

Too soon?

Is it me or has nobody else noticed that hes getting away with not buying a ticket....

I might just use this idea next time im in london. Free travel and on some random persons holiday snaps :D

I actually don't think its too bad of an ad when you watch it all in context.

Yes, we all know its a trick and he isn't really levitating. However its the reactions of the people who suddenly spot a guy randomly levitating next to a bus which are what makes it. Using footage of him filming them back from his own phone was clever and it ultimately all ties back to the fact that everybody these days films/photographs what they see and it begins with a hashtag and the ad will no doubt be shared. Pretty sure this is a win for the Ad Agency and Pepsi.
