The thing is if you go to his live shows he already tells you this before he starts and continues to tell you.
It's called showmanship and some of his tricks are really easy.

In his last show he conducts a pretend spiritual meeting and gets about 50 people on stage and then chooses four and tells them things about themselves.
I thought he had a team looking at Facebook but it was simpler than that.
When they walked on stage they were given a pen & piece of paper and asked to write 4 things down that nobody else in the audience would know and the paper was thrown in a jar.
Since there were video cameras everywhere it was obvious that one looked at the audience writing on the paper.
Dead easy but still showmanship.
