CoolerMaster HAF932 Thread

i tried the whole tights as filter idea, and lets just say it didn't work 2 pairs of tights and a very frustrated 30 minutes i just gave up those fans don't like home made filters :(. Will hopefully get some of my pics up soon

good idea i might try that or just see if coolermaster ever releases soem dust filters for their fans that no one makes. Lovely case btw only probs i haev is dust and the blue laser they chose for the power light :)

@Flare: AFAIK the second GPU temp read out is for the VRM's, these get very hot under a lot of stress. If that reading is correct, that Xtremeburn certainly did a good job of heating them up. Then again going on the GPU core temp it doesn't seem right.

My VRM temp is nearly the same as the GPU unless under stress for Vantage.

Ah right, thanks.
I have never seen that temp so high. It is pretty much always lower than the first GPU temp, atm: 1st temp at 49C and the second 41.5C

Ignore the messy cables on the rhs, they will be braided and kept out of the way soon :p

Temps are pretty good, 36c on the cpu Ide and 36 Idle for my GTX 280, and that does not seem to go above 42c when playing games, only thing is when checking GPU-Z the VDDC Slave temps go quite high on games like crysis, so have bought a Swiftech Heatsink thing and going to mod it to fit with my EK-VGA Supreme, hopefully that will keep the voltage stuff temps down :p

Looking good Fireskull, speaking of the GTX280, Are there any coolers available for it yet? I know Thermalright have the HR-03 GTX but i think they withdrew it because of over heating VRM. They were suposed to be releasing a new revision..?

I didn't use the main psu support piece in mine, just the slide out smaller bit. Didn't want to restrict the PSU air intake going through the slots and also didn't want to scratch my shiny PSU on the tray since it doesn't have any pads.

The rear piece alone together with the rear screws supports the PSU fine and allows more open airflow beneath the PSU.

Thinking of adding a couple of 120mm fan filters to the bottom as well.

Well ive got the case now, and damn it is quieter than my old TT Armor, I was thinking of fan filters etc, but its safe to say it has knocked off around 10C from my MB temp (Idle was around 40-44C, now its 32). The 280 has dropped anything between 5 and 10C off idle which again is pretty good. Loving the case no matter what :D

Thought i'd get this back to the top :D

Not done any mods as of yet but im planning on getting a fan controller, changinge the 240mm fan on the panel and adding more red lighting inside.
Will possible braid all of the wireing as well.

Oh and does anyone know if there are any sort of clips/ clasps i can get to replace the screws to keep the side panels one?

How many radiators you have?
I just wonder to WC my GTX280 with 240 XSPC rad, but I don't know it is good idea?

A 240 will be fine, thats exactly what I got cooling mine and im using a 240 black ice thin thing :p Temps never go above 47 under load in crysis.
And a 360 cooling my CPU.

quick question guys
Got this case earlier this week and will be putting my system in tomorrow, have removed all the bits tonight:)

Noticed that the fans are 3 pin connected to 4 pin molex via adapter cables,I have got a scythe kama front panel card reader/fan controller thingy, Do you think that connecting all the fans to this would be a bad idea?
I am a bit wary as although they have 3 pin connections on the fans they are monsters in size (Don`t even want to think about how the mobo would react to connecting all those up  )
