mac pro didn't survive a 30 feet drop, (late night thing if I rember) they decided to drop a microsoft based PC from the same hieght to see which one is easiest to repire and well guess which one (the mac was destoyed pretty much and had to go back to mac)

That was a test of how easy it was to repair afterwards, both were destroyed, and due to the availability of computer parts over mac parts, the PC was much easier to fix and the mac had to be sent to apple for repair.

Nothing to do with the durability of the cases or hardware.

Ah ok makes sense! Yea that sounds about right, got a lot of dead mac laptops at work and about 3 dead mac towers over the 3 years Ive worked with them.
Can never get the parts and apple charge a lot for out of warranty repair, most of them are old titanium G4 laptops so not worth it.

yes it can take a power supply at both top and bottem, bottem is best for cooling tbh as the powersupply gets it own air from outside the case rather than inside, however you may have a fight with the 24pin power or 20 whatever partucaly when your trying to hide it. (with powersupply at the bottem)

ah right ok, cheers ill keep that in mind when i install mine!

thanks

and the 4/8pin power won't reach so don't try it, case comes with a exteions however which is a 8pin setting most mobo would take it as well as most modern powersupplys

^^ wicked, Cant wait for mine! do all those fans come with it?

Also is the Large fan on the side noisy at all?

it comes with 3x230mm (correct me if im wrong) fans one on the side panel 1 on the top and one in front for intake and HDD cooling and a 140mm fan at the rear. And its really really quite I love it, much quieter than my last build, i barely know its on the larger fans only do i think 700-800RPM which is real slow making it much quieter than a standard 120mm fan along with them being larger they move much more air at a lower RPM but ITS NOT LOUD lol.

Down side is ya for all the venting there is no dust filters but if you keep positive air pressure in the case dust wont build up. and I didn't overly enjoy the look at first but im def starting to like it and it's size makes it a breeze to work in.

Only down side is that 1 IDE cable i have b/c my dvd rom is IDE and my second boot HDD also wich is just kinda hanging under my dvd rom at the top bc the IDE cable wont reach down to the HDD bay from that far :( ill hav to give in and go all sata..into the future I go lol
