Coolest running Dual core LGA775 CPU?

As the title says what is the coolest running dual core lga775 cpu, want to use one for a HTPC, graphics card will do the decoding so cpu speed does not matter a 1.6GHZ dual core is more than enough, will be using in a case with limited ventialtion, so need one which runs very cool, I have the E1200 Celeron in mind, but then there is the pentium dual core e5200, both rated at 65watts, but is there much temperature difference between them

Will be using Silverstone NT07 LGA775 CPU to cool it..
 
tbh if you want 1.6Ghz dual core, there is a dual core atom, however i believe it uses a different socket, plus i believe intel are the only ones making a m-atx board for it, however it uses max of something like 25-35W.

I asked for LGA 775 not atom, never seem to get any proper answers on here, most people seem technically inept, the Atom consumes Less than 5W, what is withthe 25W?, even a C2D SL9400 runs less than 25W and that is 1.86GHZ 6MB Cache/1066 FSB
 
The difference will be pretty small if any at all. The E1200 is basically a crippled E2140 (half the cache) - I owned an E2140, can't say it ran particularly hot, even when overclocked to 3GHz. Objectively, the E5200 runs about 5C hotter than the E2140 at idle at stock settings (about 32C and 37C respectively. Same cooler, AK-965), but they load at the same temperature, which was about 50C.

For all it's worth, get the E5200 as it runs circles around the E1200 at stock and overclocked, the Core 2 Intel chips draw much less power than their TDP would indicate.

I think the fact that they both come with a half-height heatsink (the E1200 and E5200 - not the E2140 which comes with a full-height all aluminium heatsink) really speaks volumes that the amount of heat they put out isn't really in very great volumes.

That may be so but the SL9400 is a mobile CPU and therefore is not LGA775 like you initially asked for.

Maybe if you mentioned what you want a cool running dual core for you may get better answers? Are you looking to use it in an HTPC or similar or are you just curious? Yes you can get very cool running dual cores on LGA775 but the cooler the chips get, the more cut down they are in term of performance and features in order to keep to the power usage to a minimum. So by finding the coolest running chip you may end up with something that is totally useless for the task you will be using it for.

Plus I know it's late dude, but if you're wanting people to help you need to encourage them rather than be rude, manners cost nothing....

you act like everyone on this forum is paid technical suport and we should be leaping out of windows and jumping into fires to try and find you answers you could find via google within a few minutes if you bothered to look.

Despite that i'll try and help... Of my experience - wolfdales with higher vids seem to run at naturally lower temps. Also, if you're looking for low power usage rather than heat output then undervolting a wolfie would be best.

I ran my e7200 on 1v @ stock speed (2.53ghz) with no issues. Reduced temps quite a bit and power usage dropped by a good few watts too.

As others have mentioned - perhaps a google search would be best. Might take a bit of time so don't get upset if you don't happen on the right info immediately! :D

I had an AMD X2 4200 which ran at 19C idle and 23C load with stock cooler, they don't make any ITX boards with AMD support and HDMI which outputs multichannel LPCM, they don't make any Mobile C2D Boards which have Nvidia graphics and HDMI, only board I found which has HDMI and Nvidia graphics supports only LGA775 CPU's so I am stuck for choice...
