Basically I have a Gigabyte 3D aurora case and have had it for a few months now. I am having absolute hell trying to get the temps right.
I bought the case based on good reviews all over google and the fact that I got it cheap and its nice and roomy inside.
I have the clear sidewindow version.
I am running with the standard fans, 12cm front (I removed the dust filter) and 2x rear 12cm fans and a PCI exhaust blower. With a Asus Silent Knight II CPU cooler, have also uses Intel Stock cooler and a Freezer7 Pro beforehand.
My C2D E6400 at Stock settings with stock voltage is around 46/49c idle, or near enough.
I remove the side panel of the case, and temps go down to around 35c/40c.
I really don't understand how I can improve airflow in this case. The cabling is relativley neat, there are no obstructions and it really doesnt seem to be warm inside the case either.
I previously had an Antec SuperLanboy and though yeah I will get a big new case, and the 3D aurora had 2 rear 120mm fans so airflow had to be good right? Obviously I was wrong.
Does anyone have any suggestions, ive been scratching my head for a few days now?
Cheers
