Copying everything i do

Or am i just been childish?
Your profile has you as being 22, so yes I'd say you were being childish. He is 13 and probably just looks up to his uncle. I'd be pleased if I was in your position, he obviously likes you a lot.

Sounds like he is impressionable and looks upto you. Also sounds like you are incredibly jealous of a 13 year old which is well.... a bit pathetic really.

Tell him about some really expensive things that you wouldn't mind having, then wait for him to get bored with them and buy it of your sis extra cheap. ;)

You can't blame the kid for wanting nice things, it's down to parents to let him know the value of such items and earning them through hard work.

maybe if you stopped buying kids stuff yourself he wouldn't be so interested in copying you.

Burn! :p

The kid's 13, just leave it be. Although I do know how annoying it is when people's parents buy them things you could never afford. (Case in point, the hundreds of students at my uni whose parents pay their way through, buy them cars etc while some of us have to work nights - yes I am just jealous! ;) )

comment to him that barbie is going to be really popular and how you are going to buy some to collect (or other really girlie stuff), and just sit back and relax as his parents buy him all this girlie stuff and/or think he may be gay :D

From what I see, the kid looks up to you and copies what you do because he wants to be like you. I'd be flattered.
You should try to be a positive role model for him rather than being childish and throwing your toys out of the pram (lol) because you want to be different. Be a good uncle, encourage him with the collecting and try to be his mate.

I think you have some growing up to do.

He just looks up to you, it's not a bad thing unless you treat it as such.

However, if you can't see it as a good thing try smearing yourself in your own excrement in front of him and tell him how it's the newest, hippest, most supercool thing to be doing. That'll learn the little blighter!

Lol.

Yeah, i kinda, i dunno, maybe it is jealosy, but i really doesn't feel like it. I kinda get the impression, it's not actually him who wants this stuff to begin with, it's more like his dad putting stuff into his mind. Then he begins to want it. *paranoid*

God i need to get something better to do with my time

Isn't it obvious that...

your oldest sister and her husband think you know what's 'cool' and what 'lame' and think your cool enough to place all their trust on what you to what their son will like...

and their one child looks up to you and thinks your a cool dude...
