Cordless or wireless for gaming?

I have both, MX Revolution seems to lag everytime I download something at full speed (I have 20MB cable) on my wireless line - it seems wireless signals interfere with the signal of the MX Rev ( I had 2 MX Revs both with the same issue) but the MX 1000 is perfectly fine.

Shame as the MX Rev is a much sleeker mouse!

Other way around for me, my MX1000 seemed to skip and jump for no reason, my MX Rev has been spot on.

Weird!

I've had the MX1000 (3 in fact) for 3-4 years or so now and never had a single bad thing to say about its performance. When this one wears down I'll buy another one as my local tech stores still sell them.

Some gaming mice let you switch between DPI settings at the touch of a button. Think it might be one of th new MX series mice.
I think it it so "pro gamerz" can use a highly sensitive setting for general gameplay, and then lower it for sniping, to get a finer degree of precision (or the other way round, can't remember which)

Thats the right way around. My MX518 has that function, bloody horrible with the DPI turned right up IMO.

I think it is the kind of thing where you only use it if you have really "mad skillz" or "|\/|aD 5k1llz00rz"

indeed, i view those 2 buttons on my G7 as completely pointless, id rather them be thumb buttons instead. I set one sensitivity and by gum, thats the one i want to use!

I run a wired Keyboard - G15 and a wireless mouse G7. no complaints for either. The mouse is quick and accurate and shows little to no signs of lag.
