There is not a fixed release date as it is not a new product, they will come through as and when the old stock runs out.

If you ask some shops will look for the stepping for you at no extra charge as i have done this in the past.

I am going to buy an i7 set up next week so let's hope the D0 stepping is in by then. I pretty much have my list all completed including cooler, RAM and mobo...so if someone at OCuK can email me when the new batch arrives I will be eternally grateful

Yeah, it would be nice to get a D0 stepping chip, but I'm not going to hold off for one. Point being, I could get a good C0 stepping chip now and get a good clocker that'll go to 4GHz, or I could buy a bad D0 stepping chip later that might only do 3.6GHz. It'd only be disappointing to wait ages for D0 stepping and get a bad chip anyway.

i have just done this with a competitor and they have said they've got the new D0's in stock and would happily source me one if i ordered from themselves.

Trouble is said competitor doesn't have the V8 in stock but then again neither does OCUK

Thanks... to me the other supplier looks to be assuming a lot. I'm sure that Ocuk will get them as soon as is possible.

yeah i've sent a reply asking if they could double check to see if they do actually have stock as not many uk suppliers are receiving them.

even though as you've said they started shipping accross the pond back in March

according to some other people who have contacted said shop they aren't confirming anything so we're not 100% sure.

I'll get my i7 today but doubt it'll be D0. but you never know!
