Core i7 920 Stepping D0

what voltages on the CPU too? ignore i just read your above post.

be interested to see your bios settings too.

the turbo function is doing my head in at present especially when i ran prime because CPU-Z dropped the multi to 20 @ 4ghz.

Roll on 4.4Ghz on water then :D

With your cooling it would be a certainty.

What stability testing have you done Jay ?
Prime 95 / Linx or game stable etc.

4 hours of Prime 95 and 5 loops of Intel Burn test were used to check stability.

I think the chip would probably be good for 4.5 Ghz if you had decent enough water cooling. The problem is going to be the chipset. Most of the x58 chips don't seem to like a bus speed of more than 210 MHz.

I don't know if possible to keep this clock 24/7. This is a brazilian guy, he has one 920 DO "golden", 4.4Ghz with 1.34!!!
This picture is using air cooling TRUE + SanAce 102CFM http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Z2mSCCOl-6Q/SeZjB6F3m_I/AAAAAAAAC44/ePt9IkJz7Ew/s1600-h/yoko+4822MHz.jpg.

4.82ghz on 2 cores only doesn't that great. Sure it's probably the limit of what can be achieved with a max multi of 22x and bclk of 220mhz and kudos on that but from a performance standpoint, it won't be that impressive.

Its at 20 x 210. I have fixed the multiplyer at 20 as the board will only let me use the 21 multi as part of a speedstep and turbo boost option. I think the board must be about maxed out now though.

The latest Asus P6T BIOS enables the 21x multi to be selected (i.e. constantly x21)... you should check it out.
