Correct memory speed?

In this screenshot it says my RAM is running at 374.8 MHz, but its meant to be DDR2 6400, so surely it should be at 400Mhz?
Or am i missing something here?

What CPU are you using and are you overclocking it?

Its an e6400 and its overclocked to just under 3Ghz

Makes sense then since you need 375Mhz FSB to reach 3Ghz so your RAM will also run at the same speed as the actual fsb without setting any divider.

A stock C2D has 266FSB so the default RAM speed is also 266Mhz (DDR2 533 PC4200).

See if you can push it upto 3.2Ghz to make the FSB and RAM run at 400Mhz.

You can also set a mem divider to make the RAM run faster than the FSB but then it may push your RAM well over its rated 400Mhz DDR2 800 speed.

i pushed the FSB up to 400 so now its 1:1 again.....seems stable so far, time will tell
